Hmm…it's been quite a while since my last post... contributed mainly by my attitude (pemalas! Ahaks), workload and activities organized by my fellow friends…Yours truly just came back from a fun packed holiday in Bali ! we had loads of fun unwinding, learning Balinese culture, breathtaking sceneries and enjoying each other’s companies…..I’m not gonna tell you much as Bosh already posted coverage of our holiday…so, mine will be full of pics from our holiday …..
Day 1
- arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar
- find taxi to Ubud (our base for 2 days) which is about 45 minutes from the airport. We stayed at Ulun Ubud Resort and Spa ….a gorgeous resort sits on the edge of a gorge ….love the view, love the services and love the rooms !
- freshen up and getting ready for our dinner at Nomad Cafe…we were treated like a VVIP as we’re being ushered to the restaurant btw, the hotel already booked a Legong Dance Show at Puri Peliatan…believe it or not, we were the ONLY guests watching the performance…that’s why we call the front row is always the best seats (except for GSC and TGV tickets la kan ! ;P)

We woke up and had breakfasts for 2 days in a row with a view like this from our verandah....now, who needs Breakfast at Tiffany's?
Day 2
- went to the Monkey Forest, lots of monkeys of course….a little bit phobia as I remembered an incident in Penang Botanical Garden….we were chased by a bunch of stupid monkeys without any reason !

- went to Ubud center to witness the cremation ceremony ….lots of people are there ….i felt pity for the family as the ceremony was treated like a cultural show even though they’re grieving.
The cow statue at my back will be burnt together with the corpse during the cremation.
The ceremony involves parading the coffin to the cremation area....
- Took the opportunity to visit one of the finest resort in the world “Four Seasons at Sayan”…. Once voted as the best resort in the world…classy ambience and unbelievable architecture….GORGEOUS with capital letters best describes the place.
- Dine at Murni’s Warung – serves good food ! saw the largest cicak I ever seen in my life…eewww !
- Lounging at Jazz Bar …as usual, six of us "bikin gegar" the dance floor !
Day 3
- Went to Central Ubud looking for souvenirs. I’m in love with their paintings ! Checked out from Ubud and head to Nusa Dua (our next base for another 2 days)

- Once arrived at Westin Nusa Dua, we were ushered by a friendly receptionist …and guess what? We were given a family suite complete with Teddies on each of the beds as they thought that I’m bringing my children ! ahaks!

- After freshen up and collect our rental car, Bosh drove us to the fabulous Bvlgari Bali Resort…..a stunning resort sits on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean….i’m totally speechless enjoying the view …tak dpt tido kat situ pun, minum pun jadiklah …..the resort’s so chic but yet blends beautifully with it’s surrounding….it costs no less than USD 1000 per night …. Mama mia !

- Afterwards, we headed to Uluwatu to catch the Kecak Dance…..overlooking the Indian Ocean, the view took my breath away….words can’t describe what I’ve experienced at that moment….

Day 4
- Woke up early and headed to the Dreamland…surfer’s paradise on earth …..

-Shopping time in Kuta ! Lenny claimed that I’m possessed with the shopaholic spirit ! I ended up with 11 paintings on tow ! ;P

- Hmmm…just wanna let you know (especially Ms Nellie !), Krispy Kreme has opened its outlet in Bali ! so, you don’t have to go as far as Down Under to get the fantalicious doughnuts !
- Rushed to the Tanah Lot to experience the sunset ! …breathtaking views again !

- Lounged at Ku De Ta at Seminyak.... a very chic bar set by the beach with good music, classy crowd and soothing ambience.... rumour has it Ms Kate Moss hit the club not so long ago for a good night of party during her holiday in Bali !
Day 5
- Having fun at the beach in Westin….we have to catch the afternoon flight to head back to reality (KL) ….sigh …. :(

Overall, two thumbs up for Bali Bagus experience….most importantly, I have fulfilled one of my new year lusts list ! and spent quality time with my best pals ! thanks guys ! ….so where’s next ? Hong Kong anyone ?
