Hello People !

heheh...i'm back again ! mcm choc fudge la plakkan? kejap ader kejap takder ! but seriously, my life is sooooo boring rite now ...my work is soooo consuming me now ! haiyo ! i need to plan for a weekend getaway soon ! or else somebody's gonna get wacko .......anyway, today is filled with visits to Showrooms and Show Houses.....saja gatal nak gi tgk tgk what's so special about the new Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0GT and this new housing area which is oh soooo looks like Wisteia Lane and IKEA store inside! hayo .....mati laaa mana nak korek duit to own these things....so, in the end berangan je la dulu boleh ?



my opinion on the Mits Lancer 2.0GT, it's a sexy car with very fierce looking....inside not bad, but i noticed some cheap plastics laa in some parts of it....well, the reviews that I read, everything looks good....in terms of the driving experience.....i haven't managed to get the chance for a test drive as the car's limited in Melaka showroom....the plus side for this Mits is that it comes 3 years free maintenance & 5 years warranty.... but for me, a revisit to Honda showroom to see the Civic, has confirmed that the latter is the IT car for me..... you see, once you're in the Civic's cabin, you can feel the luxury aura, but when I was inside the Mits, I just don't get the vibe ..... so that confirms then.....next step, finding somebody who wants to buy our old family car !

totally fell in love with the house that I saw today..very unconventional design, sorry, forgot to take the pics but i love it ! ...it's in a gated community, double storey bungalow complete with walk in closets, bath tub yada yada...now trying to persuade mami and papi to buy it and make it as our new home...i have to brush up my persuasion skill then ....wish me luck !

Hola everybody !!! heheh…I’m back ! I blame it on my laziness, work and laziness to update my blog…so much happenings in my life right now…..but of course big chunk of it in my work and teeny weeny portion of it my social life…anyway….i’ll start with my lust lists ! recently I’ve bid farewell to my old handphone…hello beautiful ! I’ve got myself a red Nokia N76…super duper cool ! love the screen love the keypad , I’m in love with it ! still haven’t finish exploring it though…lots of useful functions ! suits it’s tagline “Computer Done Beautifully”…hmmmm…..now I can slash one of my lust list !

Chihi….by slashing one, I’ve added a new one ! yikes ! this time it’s the Louis Vuitton Sandal ! it’s a Kamaa Thong Sandal … I can’t stop remembering how it feels slipping it on my feet and walking around in the Bukit Bintang LV Boutique a few weeks ago…but with a hefty price tag, it’s crazy la kan to spend RM2,400 for a sandal !!! hayo…this is the price I have to pay for being a fashion addict ! but really guys ! it doesn’t feel like any other sandals okay ! once I slipped on it, the sandal follows my feet contour and suddenly I felt that I’ve met my match ! hayo …over la plakkan…but truly this is one of my lust list ! felt sad when I have to return the sandal ! well…for me, ALL shopping activities have been put on hold for the upcoming Singapore Christmas Sale !!!! so, definitely will shop till I drop ! but of course, LV doesn’t do sale la kan ! someday you’ll be mine !

Now, I’m still contemplating on making my biggest purchase in my life….wait and see….;P

Bali Bagus !

Hmm…it's been quite a while since my last post... contributed mainly by my attitude (pemalas! Ahaks), workload and activities organized by my fellow friends…Yours truly just came back from a fun packed holiday in Bali ! we had loads of fun unwinding, learning Balinese culture, breathtaking sceneries and enjoying each other’s companies…..I’m not gonna tell you much as Bosh already posted coverage of our holiday…so, mine will be full of pics from our holiday …..

Day 1
- arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar
- find taxi to Ubud (our base for 2 days) which is about 45 minutes from the airport. We stayed at Ulun Ubud Resort and Spa ….a gorgeous resort sits on the edge of a gorge ….love the view, love the services and love the rooms !
- freshen up and getting ready for our dinner at Nomad Cafe…we were treated like a VVIP as we’re being ushered to the restaurant btw, the hotel already booked a Legong Dance Show at Puri Peliatan…believe it or not, we were the ONLY guests watching the performance…that’s why we call the front row is always the best seats (except for GSC and TGV tickets la kan ! ;P)

We woke up and had breakfasts for 2 days in a row with a view like this from our verandah....now, who needs Breakfast at Tiffany's?

Day 2
- went to the Monkey Forest, lots of monkeys of course….a little bit phobia as I remembered an incident in Penang Botanical Garden….we were chased by a bunch of stupid monkeys without any reason !

- went to Ubud center to witness the cremation ceremony ….lots of people are there ….i felt pity for the family as the ceremony was treated like a cultural show even though they’re grieving.

The cow statue at my back will be burnt together with the corpse during the cremation.

The ceremony involves parading the coffin to the cremation area....

- Took the opportunity to visit one of the finest resort in the world “Four Seasons at Sayan”…. Once voted as the best resort in the world…classy ambience and unbelievable architecture….GORGEOUS with capital letters best describes the place.

- Dine at Murni’s Warung – serves good food ! saw the largest cicak I ever seen in my life…eewww !
- Lounging at Jazz Bar …as usual, six of us "bikin gegar" the dance floor !


Day 3
- Went to Central Ubud looking for souvenirs. I’m in love with their paintings ! Checked out from Ubud and head to Nusa Dua (our next base for another 2 days)

- Once arrived at Westin Nusa Dua, we were ushered by a friendly receptionist …and guess what? We were given a family suite complete with Teddies on each of the beds as they thought that I’m bringing my children ! ahaks!

- After freshen up and collect our rental car, Bosh drove us to the fabulous Bvlgari Bali Resort…..a stunning resort sits on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean….i’m totally speechless enjoying the view …tak dpt tido kat situ pun, minum pun jadiklah …..the resort’s so chic but yet blends beautifully with it’s surrounding….it costs no less than USD 1000 per night …. Mama mia !

- Afterwards, we headed to Uluwatu to catch the Kecak Dance…..overlooking the Indian Ocean, the view took my breath away….words can’t describe what I’ve experienced at that moment….

Day 4
- Woke up early and headed to the Dreamland…surfer’s paradise on earth …..

-Shopping time in Kuta ! Lenny claimed that I’m possessed with the shopaholic spirit ! I ended up with 11 paintings on tow ! ;P

- Hmmm…just wanna let you know (especially Ms Nellie !), Krispy Kreme has opened its outlet in Bali ! so, you don’t have to go as far as Down Under to get the fantalicious doughnuts !
- Rushed to the Tanah Lot to experience the sunset ! …breathtaking views again !

- Lounged at Ku De Ta at Seminyak.... a very chic bar set by the beach with good music, classy crowd and soothing ambience.... rumour has it Ms Kate Moss hit the club not so long ago for a good night of party during her holiday in Bali !

Day 5
- Having fun at the beach in Westin….we have to catch the afternoon flight to head back to reality (KL) ….sigh …. :(

Overall, two thumbs up for Bali Bagus experience….most importantly, I have fulfilled one of my new year lusts list ! and spent quality time with my best pals ! thanks guys ! ….so where’s next ? Hong Kong anyone ?

Mystery Drive 07

Hola ! tsk tsk…sudah lama tak blogging … anyway, last weekend was among the best weekend ever as me, Kirin, Raja & Has got the chance to join the inaugural Mystery Drive held by the Recreational Club. Best giler as the journey will take us from Melaka to Kota Tinggi, Johor (360 km stretch)…. Along the way we have to solve the questions provided…pit stop : Kluang Railway Station….yours truly was the Navigator that day …proudly, we’re the underdogs managed to be in the 5th place …susah giler okay soalan dia ! the journey took about 10 hours as we have to slow down at certain “tulips” looking for answers for the questions….. we’re definitely planning to take part in the next Mystery Drive….Thanks guys for a lovely weekend ! let’s do this again next year and aim for the 1st spot !

The 2nd weekend was fantastic as I got the chance to check into Le Meridien, KL Central....so, boleh tick one of the hotels that I wanna stay in KL....a fabulous hotel with a very classy ambience in the lobby and the room....staffs are very very friendly and professional handling my immediate check in ...now that's what we call 5 stars brand ! even more fantastic as it was my reunion with my very old friend, Meerul! we haven't met since 6 years ago...currently, he's on 2 weeks holiday from his assignment in Tashkent as a Geologist.. lots of stories exchanged over less than 20 hours we're together....i do hope we'll meet again Meerul ! stay in touch will you !

1. I have a little bit Obsessive Compulsive traits....
You see.... I can make a U-turn eventhough I'm half way to work just to make sure that I have turned off the lights ! sometimes dah sampai office pun boleh patah balik ....how weird is that ? ...... I will look twice whenever I switched off the lights....enough! I'm no freak !

2. I like shoes ... a lot ! lots of them !
I think I have more than what my lil' sis have in her collections.... :P...hey, men do need their shoes to look good okay ! and to feel good about themselves !

3. I always have DeJavu....
Seriously ! ....almost once in a month...not so important events though ! always feels like ...hmmm been here and done this before ....

4. Always stick to the same menu according to the restaurants....
heheh...malas nak try yg baru...if i know that certain specialty is really good in that restaurant ...so yg tu je laa i order ..... nothing else....sesia jek menu depan mata berjela jela....

5. I'm Nescafe addict ..... every morning, I have to have Nescafe to jumpstart my brain...or else it's gonna be a very very moody day ! right now, I have dozens of Nescafe in my fridge..... the weirdest thing, I can sleep during the night eventhough I drank Nescafe just before going to bed....hmmmm...

6. I talk to cats .... every day I'll have this rituals talking to my cats ...three of them ! since I live alone right now....they're my buddies ! Cielo, Arabella and Ollie....cool cats... tak bising bising like our neighbour cats ... :P..they'll just look at me and buat muka ngada ngada mintak friskies .....

Selamat Pengantin Baru ....

Selamat Pengantin Baru to Linda and Yopy ! you guys made a beautiful bride and handsome groom yesterday .... had the opportunity jadik "pengapit" for the groom...didn't expect it's gonna be so challenging as I have to do the "samping" and "tengkolok" for the groom...ah so... had a crash course from the "Mak Andam" in the morning for 10 minutes or so, and rushed back to the base to find the groom and "siap-siapkan" dia....turned out I'm a pro already ! see the pics.... met Han and Ham (a.k.a Awie) ...which I haven't met for ages, had fun chatting with them catching up stories.... it was a very simple and nice wedding and I enjoyed it very much ! to Linda and Yopy...."Selamat Pengantin Baru, Semoga Kekal Ke Anak Cucu !!!"..... had the "upah" of 10 ringgit for being the best man, and I spent it wisely watching Mukhsin last nite...it's a very good movie....you guys should watch it !

Visit Malaysia 2007

Hi all ! i'm back ! had a vey looong week & weekend and right now on leave.... recovering from asthma attack due to lack of rest ...seriously, I've been moving here and there for the past 1.5 weeks ....the most important thing is I enjoyed every moment of them ! Last Saturday, met up with Bosh and my Deutsch friends in KLCC....i have to asked Bosh to be our tourist guide in KL...didn't managed to go up to KLCC skybridge as passes were sold out, so as an alternative, kitorang gi Central Market and Petaling Street to introduce my Deutsch friends to a little bit of Malaysian flavour....sunday evening, flew to Labuan attending a conference...met up with lots of new friends from all over M'sia, Indonesia, S'pore and Thailand....cool...as I know lots of contacts now...no need to panick like a headless chicken looking for tips and advise if there's a problem with my units....ader jugak jumpa kawan lama and also lecturers UTP ....took a chance to do some sight seeing in Labuan and of course, shopping for chocolates and seafood ! it's a heaven in Labuan for those who loves these things....anyway, since 2007 is Visit Malaysia year ...I have made a vow to travel as much as possible within Malaysia....next stop, Langkawi...mmmm those white sandy beaches in Datai is calling me .... planning to treat my parents for a short weekend...we'll see...owh ya, and overdue trips with my best friends to Redang & Tioman Islands....let's do some plans shall we ! .... Bosh! I'm yet to book Westin Nusa Dua for our Bali trip ! don't be mad ! I'll do it !

I'm back !!!

Hola all ! I am back in Malaysia ! so glad to be back ! ... my right shoulder is still aching !... I think I've dislocated some joints as I was dragging along my 3 suitcases to catch the flight home.... as I expected my luggages exceeded my quota of 30 kg, I was dragging a 41 kilos of goodies ... ;P ...luckily our Director of "Pusat Sains Negara" came to the rescue ! ...phewww ! said goodbye to my friend, Zain and settled down in the Golden Lounge while waiting for the flight home.... quite big and comfy lounge though a little bit far away from the boarding gate.... my Deutsch friends really enjoyed the food served there as I was saving my tummy for the cuisines served on board....totally, MAS is the best ! a true 5 star Airlines! had a smooth flight...didn't sleep at all as I was too excited heading home....bosan sgt snapped a photo while we're crossing the Black Sea...watched Mary Antoinette...hmmm so so ....."Employee of The Month"...despite Jessica Simpson as the lead actress, it was really an entertaining movie .... "Flushed Away" was really cool animation... and one of the B rate movie, I couldn't remember the title...but it was entertaining as lots of explosion involves.... heheh.... the funny story of that day was, one of my Deutsch friend made a joke to the lady at the check-in counter ... Lady : How many bags are you checking in sir ? .....Friend : 2 bags...owh take extra care the one with the bomb inside ! ...crazy ! ....the lady was quite speechless...but looking at his poker face she laughed imediately....hahah....

Now, kinda busy with work at site .... flying to Labuan this weekend for a 3 days conference next week.... gonna be exciting as my buddy is presenting a paper, which was my first major team project last 2 years....cool....boleh usik dia kasik gelabah ! heheh ! ...looking forward for new friends in my field of work which I heard will consists delegation from Europe ad Middle East too.... let's see.... definitely planning to borong lots of chocolate ! it's tax free which is way lot cheaper than in Peninsular...and of course the sea food ...heaven !

owh ya ! forgot to tell you, disebabkan mulutku yg becok ni....I have offered my friend who's getting married next 2 weeks any assistance that she wants ...just name it ....tup tup...."ki2, ko baikkan? ko dah janji nak tolong aku kan? ...leh jadi best man utk laki aku tak ?" ....owh oh ...too late to take my words back ! .... so, let's see how do I perform as a best man next 2 weeks okay ! .... ayoyo...getting cold feet rite now ! can i chicken out ??! any ideas for excuses ? ...heheh !
